The 2022 work calendar of Spain It was already published in State official newsletter so the days that will be holidays in the next 12 months are already known.
The first day that has been a holiday has been the January 1 , which fell on a Saturday. In the next few days it will be Thursday the 6th, Kings or Epiphany of the Lord, when there will be a national holiday.
We will have to wait until April for there to be another national holiday with the Holy Friday , which will be on April 15. Coming soon, in August will be added on Monday 15 by the Assumption of Our Lady.
Before entering summer is May 1, Labor Day, which falls on a Sunday, which is why some autonomous communities move it to 2, such as the Community of Madrid.
On October 12, Hispanic Heritage Day will fall on Wednesday and November 1, All Saints Day On tuesday. Already in the last month of the year it will end with two holidays, on December 6 Day of the Spanish constitution which will be Tuesday, and December 8, Immaculate Conception’s Day on Thursday.
Finally, we must not forget December 25, Christmas , which this year falls on a Sunday. Some regions of Spain will also take the holiday to a day later, on Monday the 26th.
