American: President Donald Trump Honored Prime Minister Narendra Modi With ‘Legion Of Merit’

Washington: US President Donald Trump on Monday honored the Prime Minister of India with ‘Legion of Advantage.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was honored with this award for enhancing the strategic partnership of the two countries and the rise of India as a world power.

India’s Ambassador to the US Taranjit Singh Sandhu accepted the award from American National Security Adviser Robert O’Briana on behalf of Narendra Modi.

US National Security Adviser Robert O’Briana tweeted and praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that Modi has done terribly well for the strategic partnership of the 2 countries. Due to that he is being awarded the Legion of Benefit.

The highest degree Chief Commander of the Legion of Advantage is given solely to the Head of State or Government. It was established by Congress on July 20, 1942.
