Olivier Giroud of France is the most recent player to score a brace. He did so during France’s 4-1 victory over Australia in the opening match of the group stage. This victory tied him with Thierry Henry for the most goals ever scored while wearing the iconic Les Bleus shirt. Giroud now has 51 goals to his name.
