Before I begin, I think it’s important to get one thing out of the way: Eddie Redmayne has always had a great sense of style. Yet, despite the fact that the actor obviously knows his way around a slick awards ceremony tuxedo or a louche double-breasted linen suit, Redmayne has been subtly adding a few new twists to his sartorial repertoire ever since stepping out in support of his latest project, the Netflix crime drama The Good Nurse co-starring Jessica Chastain. It would be understandable if Redmayne, at the age of 40, wished to counter his still-boyish handsomeness with something more serious or stuffy; nevertheless, it appears that he is feeling more playful than ever with his style.
Redmayne has recently amped things up a notch by recruiting the assistance of Harry Lambert, a stylist who is most well-known for his work with Harry Styles but whose eclectic and offbeat tastes have seen him deliver showstopping red carpet moments for the likes of Emma Corrin and Josh O’Connor, too.
When Redmayne attended the New York premiere of The Good Nurse, he wore a deconstructed Maison Margiela
Couture suit that had raw hems, exposed stitches, and detached panels. The suit looked like a Savile Row classic that had been turned inside out. This was our first indication that Redmayne was exploring new territory. It was a statement that was as fashion-forward as it was, well, fun. Especially for a star like Redmayne, whose prior appearances at the biggest award ceremonies have often seen him choose for a more conventional black tie path, it was a message that was important.
And Redmayne did not stop there in his accomplishments. When he made an appearance at the Mill Valley Film Festival in California the week before last, he rocked a smart Dries van Noten suit in a nailhead check with exaggerated lapels and a huge velvet Gucci bow tie for a finishing touch of ’70s-inspired grandeur. Last weekend, while he was in Savannah for the Savannah Film Festival, he was seen wearing a tan suit by Marni, which he paired with a flaming crimson shirt by Séfr that had an ever-so-slightly-seedy large collar. And at the Montclair Film Festival in New Jersey, which took place over the same weekend, he opted for a more simple collarless jacket and fitted pants from Celine in a subtle pinstripe. He wore a black mock neck sweater underneath the ensemble.
Neither has Redmayne’s recent run of good taste been restricted to only wearing tailored clothes. Another highlight was when he attended a screening at the SAG-AFTRA Foundation in New York wearing a charming S.S.
Daley cardigan featuring—what else?—a pair of blue ducks. This occurred on Monday.
He showed up to a Q&A event wearing the fuzzy Loewe knit of dreams, which was made from faux shearling and featured a dizzying array of colourful stripes. Redmayne may be taking on one of his most serious parts to date with his performance in The Good Nurse; nevertheless, if his manner of marketing the film is any indication, he is having a tremendous amount of fun while doing it.

Eddie, too, made a statement about the uncomfortable interaction that took place during the show.
“I assumed we would just be singing off each other – I didn’t know that we would be in each other’s arms,” he added. “I didn’t know that we would be in each other’s arms.”
“My predominant recollection of it is that I had garlic dough balls and pizza for dinner the night before, and all I could think about was how bad my breath smelled of garlic when Taylor was passing away in my arms and I was trying to convey emotion,” the person said.
The very thought of it causes us to quake in our boots.
Swift’s fortunes have, thankfully, improved dramatically since that time. Just a week ago, she broke the record for the most albums streamed in a single day on Spotify by releasing her new album, Midnights, which was met with universal acclaim upon its release.
On the broadcast, she discussed the record and remarked something along the lines of, “I’ve had sleepless nights all throughout my life, and there is such intensity when you are up all night.” The album is a concept, and the fundamental question it asks is, “What keeps you up at night?
