While Top Gun: Maverick continues to explode at the box office, Leah Remini wishes to remind us that Tom Cruise is still linked to the Church of Scientology. “Don’t let her charm fool you”, launched the actress in a Twitter post while relaying a long Facebook post from Claire Headley, ex-executive of Scientology.

“Glad Top Gun fans are enjoying the new movie. Personally, recent posts about this movie have only reminded me of Tom Cruise’s Crimes Against Humanity. Do you probably think I’m extreme? Destroying families is a crime against humanity. It’s my opinion. Ask yourself: When did Tom last speak to Suri, his only biological daughter? Remember Katie Holmes and her extreme efforts to free herself from the control of Scientology, ”she wrote, before listing the harm that had done her to the movement founded by Ron Hubbard.

Decades in Scientology Tom Cruise

Thank you to my friend Claire Headley for her courage. You have continued to speak out despite ongoing attacks from Scientology,” Leah Remini added in her post.

As a reminder, the actress spent 35 years in Scientology before leaving in 2013. In an interview with the Daily Beast in 2018, she denounced the weight and influence that Tom Cruise retained within the cult. (considered a sectarian movement in France while having the legal status of association law 1901), even claiming that the actor had been complicit in abuse inflicted on members.

Yet again Leah Remini is getting down on Tom Cruise for his association with the Church of Scientology as his blockbuster “Top Gun: Maverick” stays at the highest point of the movies.

Voyage’s most recent “Top Gun” film allowed the 59-year-old entertainer the greatest opening few days of his vocation at $156 million in ticket deals. As of Sunday, he is positioned at the No. 2 spot behind “Jurassic World: Dominion” at an expected $50 million.

On Saturday, Remini, 51, forewarned fans about supporting Cruise. “Tom Cruise knows precisely very thing happens in Scientology,” she composed on Twitter. “Try not to allow the film to star fascinate fool you.”

“The King of Queens” alum was a member of the church for 35 years before leaving in 2013. Two years later, she said in an interview that Cruise was one of the factors that led her to leave — because the actor is so tethered to the church, they view an attack on him as an attack on all of them.

Remini has long reprimanded Cruise for his association in the congregation.

“He is extremely mindful of the maltreatments that happen in Scientology,” Remini told The Daily Beast in 2018. “He’s been essential for it.”

That’s what the entertainer guaranteed “Scientologists are informed that Cruise is saving the world independently, so he is viewed as a divinity inside Scientology,” second just to David Miscavige, the congregation’s chief beginning around 1986.

The two men are “closest companions,” she proceeded, so Cruise has “been conscious of the disciplines that David Miscavige gives out.”

Remini sent off the A&E series “Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath” in 2016 where she talked about leaving and talked with supposed casualties of misuse. Inside the series’ three-year fun, she was incredulous of other high-profile Scientologists including Danny Masterson, welcoming his informers of rape for the finale.
